Method 1
This first method uses the pressure point behind your knees for relieving back ache.Sit on the floor.Now lie down completely on your back. Bend your knees while lifting your legs off the floor.
Lightly put the fingers of both your hands on each corresponding knee joint, palms up with the fingers slightly curled. Now slowly move your legs forward and backwards.
Continue for about two minutes then relax and lie straight.Bend your knees while keeping your feet on the floor and remain in this position for another two minutes, this pressure technique needs to be repeated thrice daily-morning, noon and before going to bed at night.
Method 2
Place your left hand in your right one.Use the thumb of the right hand at the point on your hands where the bone of your index finger and thumb meet and place the index finger on the bottom of that point.
Now apply gentle pressure.You will feel a pinching sensation in your left hand which shows that you are on the right track.Be in this position for ten seconds before releasing the pressure; now relax for some time before repeating the process twice.Once done with the left hand do the same sequence with your right hand placed in the left.
Method 3
You may solicit a friend for help while using this method. Lie or sit on the floor and hold one of your feet with the hands.Now place your thumb at the fleshy point on the upper surface of the foot where the bones of the big toe and corresponding one meets.
Place the index finger on the same point at the bottom surface and apply gentle pressure for about one minute while breathing slowly. Then relax and repeat the procedure with your other foot.
Method 4
Place one elbow on an armrest and with the thumb of your other hand find the pressure point on the crease towards the inner side of the elbow. Apply pressure for one minute and then repeat this procedure with the other one.
These simple and easy to do acupressure methods miraculously relieve back ache and there are not any negative consequences.
