Keeping your heart healthy is the most imperative thing in this stressful life. There are various ways in which you can keep your heart healthy.
Regular exercise and balanced diet can be implemented in this case. You can choose a diet which is rich in vitamins and low on cholesterol level.
Here are some heart healthy recipes you can implement:
Bean salad:
Ingredients to be used:
1 cup of white beans
Two tomatoes in diced form
1 cup of cucumber in chopped form
Half cup of onion in chopped form
Some black olives in chopped form
Two tea spoons of dried oregano
Some pepper for taste
Some vinegar for taste
Two table spoons non fat cheese
Method to make:
Take a large bowl, and add white beans and cucumber. Mix both the things well. Now, add some diced tomatoes and mix well. Now, you can add olives and onions according to your taste. Mix all the things together, and add some vinegar. Now, toss all the things and add some dried oregano. You can now add some pepper according to your taste. Keep this salad in fridge for two hours. While serving, you can add some non fat cheese for taste. This recipe has little saturated fat and zero cholesterol.
Brown rice with apples:
Ingredients to be used:
2 cups brown rice in cooked form
1 cup of apples in diced form
1 cup of onions in diced form
Some raisins and almonds
Some celery leaves
One tea spoon pepper
Thyme for taste
One tea spoon margarine
1 cup of bran
Method to make:
Cook brown rice and keep it ready. Now, in another bowl, add some apples, celery leaves, onions and mix well. Now, add raisins and almonds for taste. You can now add thyme and pepper for taste. Now, you can add some bran for taste. Mix all the things together and bake it using margarine. This recipe has zero cholesterol level.
These are some easy heart healthy recipes. You can use different types of variations in case of preparing these recipes. All the recipes can be prepared using olive oil, or other healthy oil.
