How To Apply Nail Polish

Along with your face it is important that you should take care of your hands too. However, taking care of your hands also include taking care of your nails. Beautiful and well decorated nails will make your hands look even more beautiful. However in order to make your nails beautiful and attractive the two basic steps that you should take care to clean your nails properly and apply suitable nail color on them. Applying nail polish is not a big problem but you should know some basic techniques so that you can apply it flawlessly.

First you should clean your nails properly. Use a good quality nail polish remover to clean the nail polish remnants on your nails. Apply nail polish remover on cotton pads and wipe the nail polish remnants from your nails properly. Do not use a cheap quality acetone as it might ruin the texture of your nails.

Then clean your nails properly. You can apply manicure on your finger nails after removing the nail colors. This will help you to get clean and shining nails.

It is advisable to keep shorter nails. Avoid keeping too long nails as they can break easily. The best measurement for your nails will be one fourth inch longer than your finger tips. If the nail keeps breaking frequently than there are chances that they will soon become shapeless. Thus, trim your nails properly and give them the right shape as per your choice before applying the nail enamel.

Before applying a nail color it is advisable to apply a coat of base color on your nails. This will hold the color on your nails and will make it look even more attractive.

First choose your color. While applying the nail polish make sure that you apply it from the base. Pull the brush from your base to the tip in one stroke. After the first coating of your nail enamel dries up, apply the second coat. Make sure that you apply thin coats as thick coats might get peeled and ruined easily.
