“A kiss makes the heart young and wipes out the years”, this is how a common phrase about a kiss goes. A kiss is a pillar of a passionate relationship and thus it helps in strengthening the base of it.
However, are you aware of the several health benefits that you can derive through kissing? I am sure most of us are not. Kissing is a passionate gesture that helps you to reciprocate your feelings towards your partner but apart from that it also results in betterment of your health.
Today I will impart information about the goodness of kissing.
1.) It is medically proved that kissing helps in increasing some years of life. This might sound weird but it is seen that those who daily gives a goodbye kiss to their partners, lives longer than those who don’t.
2.) Kissing is a wonderful energy booster. It acts like miracles for those who are depressed or stressed. It is a wonderful source of psychological strength and support. Kiss your partner when he is down to show that you are there beside him and he will surely feel better. Kissing helps in enhancing one’s self esteem.
3.) Kissing creates a calming sensation and reduces the pangs of anxiety. It results in secretion of oxytocin an extremely calming hormone that helps in subsiding anger, tension and stress.
4.) The basic health advantage that you can draw by kissing your partner at least three to four times a day is that it will help you shed those extra calories. It has been proved that kissing for a minimum period of 20 seconds at a stretch will help in burning calories in a good amount. Two to three kisses a day will make you loose 2-3 calories a day.
5.) Kissing helps in improving the health of your heart. It secretes adrenaline that facilitates the pumping of blood in your heart and thus, controls several cardio-vascular diseases.
6.) Kissing results in exercising of your facial muscles and prevents accumulation of fat on your cheek muscles.
7.) It also helps in preventing blood infection, stomach ailments and gall bladder problems.
8.) Kissing results in secretion of several antibiotics in the saliva.
