However, it is important that you should know the right technique for dieting. Dieting blindly will not help you reach your true destination. In fact it will create several hindrances on your way of living a healthy life.

Today we will discuss about some of the common side effects created through crash dieting. These are extremely harmful for the health and will disturb your normal health cycle.

Gastric Problems:

While dieting you might stay in empty stomach for long hours. This is extremely harmful as it causes accumulation of gas in the intestinal regions.  This is later followed by burning sensations and irregular bowel syndromes. Gastric disorders if not treated properly will lead to serious liver problems, stomach inflammations and ulcers. Dieting also results in serious stomach ailments like constipation.

Weakness and loss of energy:

Those who are dieting without proper knowledge about the practice are likely to feel weak and feeble. This is because their bodies do not get the necessary nutrients that are required for a healthy survival. Thus, they lack energy to work and too much of work can make them feel dizzy and tired. Dieting unbalances the nutrition level of the body leaves the person weak and lean.

Hair fall and nail chipping:

Excessive dieting may result in massive hair fall. It also makes your nails fragile and weak. Thus, they break easily. Your nails might develop white spots that show lack of proper nutrition. Your hair will loose all its shine and luster and will become dull.

Skin abnormalities:

Excessive dieting may give rise to several skin problems. Some of the common problems are stretch marks and dry skin. However, his can be prevented by increasing your intake of water and other dilute items like fruit juice, milk, etc.

Menstrual problems:

Too much of dieting means lack of proper nutrition for the body. In case of women this may result in some serious gynecological issues. Lack of proper nutrition will cause hormonal imbalances which in turn might disturb the normal flow of the menstrual cycle.
